A Northern California small town filled with wine, food and artisan Tastemakers in an idyllic Wine Country setting.
The perfect time to visit this charming community is NOW. You don’t want to miss the upcoming Tastemaker Weekend!!
WHEN | January 24 – 26, 2020
Meet the makers while enjoying a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on, on a day-to-day basis in Healdsburg. All weekend long this event is offering hands-on interactive classes, tours and activities for people who love to eat, drink, stay and play!! A great part of this weekend includes the opportunity to get up close and personal with the tastemakers and learn from these masters of their skill.
You can explore the town in between activities and even receive deals on lodging to spend the weekend immersed in the local community. Sign me up!
Discounts on lodging are offered to all participants in maker activities, see below for a list of all eligible accommodations.
Another great reason to support is to give back to the local community. A portion of each ticket price will go to the Healdsburg High School Culinary Program in support of education for future tastemakers.
Give back and have fun at the same time, this is a not to miss weekend!

What is a Tastemaker?
The Tastemakers of Healdsburg are a special group of people consisting of chefs, artists, winemakers, farmers, outdoor enthusiasts and sooo much more. Tastemakers are people who influence what is… or will become… fashionable. They help set the trend for what is currently popular. They have honed their particular skill and are ready to share what they have learned with you.
The weekend of activities from January 24-26th include a variety of popular events and classes which consist of foraging, sabering, cooking, wine creation as well as even including a free hiking adventure!! Sounds like a plan to me.
I recently was able to preview what goes into tastemaker weekend with a wonderful 48 hours spent in Healdsburg meeting the makers who make this place so special. It was such a memorable time spent with tours, tasting, classes and even some relaxing moments spent just taking all of it in…
Read all about my journey spent with local Tastemakers this next week in a separate article – Stay tuned. I ate, drank and saw, ALL the things~ Healdsburg holds a special place in my heart – because I truly feel that it is a SPECIAL TOWN here amongst others in Sonoma County Wine Country, California.
Tastemaker Weekend was an idea and event created by the Healdsburg Tourism Improvement District, a group that is passionate about this quaint community and the local artisans who live here. the HTID is a local organization whose goal is to improve tourism and promote room stays in a region that could really use the support after the recent Kincade Fires. The group really gives back to the community and welcomes visitors to Stay Healdsburg and enjoy all that it has to offer.
