The Chefs Serve. The Winemakers Pour.
The Proceeds Matter.
Giving you a Taste of Sonoma… with access to the people who grow and create some of the world’s most amazing wine and food…
Sonoma Wine Country Weekend September 4-6th 2015 continues to please year after year.
The weekend is the County’s largest charity event and one that draws the biggest crowds of the year into one spot.
As a signature event, it is jointly produced by the Sonoma County Vintners and the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Foundation. With all proceeds going to local charities, it is a great reason to raise a glass and a fork!
All weekend long throughout Sonoma County, there will be lunches, winemaker dinners, auctions, many a bottle opened and many a dollar raised.
Dine, drink and dance under the stars poolside at Coppola Winery…
Sample the county’s best from over 200 wineries and top chefs at MacMurray Estate…
Or mingle with Sonoma’s first families and bid on exclusive items while supporting Sonoma County kids at Chateau St Jean….
Sign me up for all three… No, really. I will be at all three… glass in hand of course.
Fine wine and great food go together like sunshine and weekends. At Sonoma Wine Country Weekend attendees will have an opportunity to change the future for at-risk kids.
This will improve the quality of life for future Sonoma County children and improve literacy skills of kids when they most need it.
Fund the Future proceeds from the event will be shared by several of Sonoma County’s most powerful and effective children’s literacy programs.
Readers are Leaders!
This annual event brings over 200 of Sonoma’s top winemakers and growers together in one place.
Pair these wines with a collection of the area’s best chefs… and there you have it…An Amazing Experience that is Giving Back to the Local Community.
It’s all good.
200+ winemakers you say? … How will I taste it all?!? …
Planning ahead is key to making the most of your Sonoma Wine Country Weekend Shenanigans. Start with the SonomaWCW Event Website and read more about the schedule.
Once you have decided which events to attend, it’s time for the fun part. Picking the wine and food.
Not even the most saavy of winelovers can possibly taste wine from 200 wineries in one day. Not to mention the yummy food to pair with.
After attending quite a few wine events with multiple wine options, my first suggestion to ticket holders is: Print out the lists of Participating Wineries and Chefs a few days beforehand.
Take time and highlight your favorites and “Must Try” tables. Use this as a guide to your adventure.
The whole shindig starts under the Sonoma County stars on Friday at Coppola Winery for Sonoma Starlight.
On Saturday at Taste of Sonoma… one can turn it into a full day of fun, raising money and drinking great wines while nibbling small bites and visiting with the makers who made it all happen.
Wrap up the shenanigans on Sunday by doing good while bidding on one of a kind auction items at the Harvest Auction.
