No matter what I find myself doing… It’s probably…
Better with Wine.
Football is no exception, bring on the big pours! This year for the 50th Game, Sonoma County is an official destination partner of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee. How wonderful.
Sonoma County will be providing wines to The Host Committee for its events in the lead-up to Super Bowl 2016 and during Super Bowl Week. There will be a Sonoma County Wine Lounge in San Francisco for visitors to sip through what makes California Wine Country so special.
The Wine Lounge in SF operates from January 30 – February 7th. More than 50 Sonoma County wineries will be pouring at Super Bowl City in San Francisco, including many of my favorites like Iron Horse Vineyards, Peaceland Vineyards, Patz & Hall, Dutton Goldfield, St Francis Winery, Balletto Winery, Laurel Glen Vineyard, Buena Vista Winery. The Lounge offers fans a chance to learn more about Sonoma County which is soo close by.
One of the perks, of having the Super Bowl in a place as beautiful as California, is that after The Big Game people can visit Sonoma County & discover more than 400 wineries within an hour and a half from the event itself. Not too shabby. How many football games have this?
The Super Bowl Local Host Committee on their website: “situated just 30 minutes north of San Francisco, travelers looking for fabulous food and wine and luxurious accommodations can venture to a few of Sonoma County’s 400 wineries spread out among its 60,000 acres of vineyards. The area comprises several dozen towns, all uniquely charming, some with access to the Pacific Ocean.”
I couldn’t agree more. Sonoma County is a magical place. For more information on Super Bowl 50, visit www.sfbaysuperbowl.com.
Below is a list of what is important to me during the football action
