Chateau Diana in Dry Creek on SonomaChat

May 11, 2014 · by Amy Lieberfarb ·

20140813_163958Sunflowers in bloom and rows of vines beyond. Sounds like a good place to sip wine if you ask me. Chateau Diana on the Dry Creek Road tour of Wineries in Sonoma County is alovely spot and I had the pleasure of visiting recently when Teri hosted a SonomaChat from the patio and tasting room.

20140813_161413Recently named the Best Tasting Room in Sonoma County by the Press Democrat @NorthBayNews, I would agree. There is a lot to do, see and drink at the Chateau Diana Tasting Room. They also have the most unique names and labels that this girl has seen in a long time, from the Zombie Zin to the Stick Candy front label, there is something for everyone and the wines make a great gift idea.

I was introduced to Wine Slushies which I must say at first I wasn’t so sure about…. until I tried one and they are perfect for those hot summer days and made in a variety of flavors. I was also introduced to their Pinot and Pizza experience using an awesome Cornmeal Crust pizza to die for by Vicolo.

Teri was family to the lng standing family brand and worked and lived non stop here at the winery itself. Her dedication to the brand, the wines as well as making sure that folks know how “cool” the spot is was impressive.

20140813_180241She had such drive and such a lovely smile to boot. My favorite was the 707 Pinot Noir which Teri was kind enough to send us each home with a bottle of. Much fun and a spot that I definitely plan to return with girlfriends to spend another fun afternoon in the future. Chin Chin…

Founded in 1981, Chateau Diana is a family-owned winery in the Dry Creek Valley near Healdsburg, California. Established by Tom and Diane Manning, the winery is now owned by their son and daughter, Corey and Dawn, who are pleased to be working alongside the third generation of the family – following the traditions, standards, and values set down by their parents.

20140813_161328Proud of our growing team, all of whom are considered part of the “extended family,” everyone works in concert to make the finest quality wines with a consumer-friendly focus.

Our close allegiance with our nationwide distribution partners is a valuable element of the success of our signature wine brands – 1221, Jawbreaker, Black Oak, Chateau Diana, Pleasure Party, She Razz, Mind Bender, Candy Babee, and Zombie Zin.

Our inviting Tasting Room, in the heart of the picturesque and prestigious Dry Creek area, offers our exclusive “707” wines, representing the best of our estate.

READY TO VISIT? –

Visit Chateau Diana Winery for a relaxing tour and tasting. The Tasting Room features a daily selection of wines, as well as our exclusive 707 Wines and seasonal favorites, at the gorgeous wine bar, or you can relax on the patio overlooking the picturesque Dry Creek Valley, one of the premier growing regions of California.

Resting along picturesque Dry Creek Road, our family-owned winery and our beautiful vineyard land has been farmed continuously for over 100 years – first growing hops and prunes, and now grapes.

Chateau Diana Winery has been owned and operated by the Manning Family for over 30 years. Our inviting tasting room opened in January of 2012. This is a different type of wine country; one where family-owned wineries are the norm, rather than the exception. If you bump into at least one of the owners don’t be surprised when you are treated as a valued Manning family friend.
