Celebrating it’s Ruby Anniversary at 40 years in 2016… Sonoma County’s Real Wine Road is an association of wineries and lodgings in the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys of Northern Sonoma County.

From its modest beginning as an organization of nine wineries, it has grown into a spirited constellation of 197 wineries and 54 lodgings.
A wine for all tastes.

WHAT is a Magical Mystery Tour in Wine Country?

THE WINE ROAD – SONOMA COUNTY
Pick a valley to explore or set out about town to discover a more urban winery.

• Get picked up at the Healdsburg City Hall parking lot, whisked away in beautifully appointed buses from Pure Luxury for a day of magical wine and food pairings. —- Each tour will visit five wineries, only 40 people per tour.
• The Mystery ~ is where you will be stopping!  Just sit back, relax and enjoy
• The Magic ~ is the wines you will be enjoying throughout the day.
• Select from Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Russian River or Urban Wine
• Entertaining captain on each ship (bus) to keep you energized between stops AND some fabulous goodie bags for you to take home at the end of the day.
• This event is for those 21 and over, no children or babies. Dogs are not allowed on this bus tour.

SIMONCINI WINERY

Food & Wine Pairing In The Caves with The Winemaker: Enjoy tasting wine in the cave among the barrels with food pairings created right on premises in the Simoncini kitchen. Chef de Cuisine pairs five wines with five courses of family recipes. Enter the Cave for a tour of a working underground winery while you sip from a Champagne flute, vintage Pinot Rouge Sparkling wine from the Russian River Valley, and taste the Chef’s surprise of the day. You are then seated in the cave where each course is china and linen service.

        

STRYKER SONOMA

An Estate Vineyard Tour with Picnic Lunch & Wine Tasting: A tour and tasting of the estate as the winery shares their wine making philosophy and style. This is truly a “Grape to Glass” experience. Spend time on the observation deck or another unique location as the knowledgeable crew brings to the table sips of Estate wines and an antipasti platter of cured meats, artisan cheeses, marinated olives, Jimtown Spicy pepper jam and house made baguette crostini. The ingredients for a “Quintessential Alexander Valley” experience.

        

COLAGROSSI WINES

Barrel Tasting Samples, Small Bites & Blending Lessons: The family makes wines from small lots from carefully selected California grapes. Colagrossi wines is a micro-winery located in the heart of the Sonoma County Wine Country. It is available for tastings by appointment only where guests can experience barrel tastings, current wine releases and small bites all in a relaxed atmosphere in an urban winery setting.

        

BENOVIA WINERY

Current Release Wine Tasting & Vineyard Education: Experience a sit down expert led wine tasting of several of the current Benovia release wines. The tasting room is available by appointment only. Learn more about fruit sourced from estate vineyards in Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, and Sonoma Coast with grower partners in Sonoma Mountain & Ft. Ross-Seaview during this guided tasting.
