#DSCWines work with Winegrowers, Vintners, Sommeliers, Restaurants and Non-Profits in Sonoma County to develop an awareness of the rich diversity of food, wine, and natural beauty that is available in Northern California.
Some of these groups include, but are not limited to Sonoma County Vintners, Sonoma County Winegrowers, Alexander Valley Winegrowers, Dry Creek Valley Winegrowers, Russian River Valley Winegrowers, Sonoma Valley Wine, Carneros Wine Allianciance, Heart of Sonoma, Sonoma County Visitors Bureau, Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau, The Wine Road, and of course…. the ever important…Sonoma Chat!!
They maintain an Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ accounts to help various organizations and wineries promote their events, wineries, and community programs.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jolene more than a year ago. We first met virtually and then, later, got to see the whites of each others eyes. Red Car Tasting Room in Sebastopol was the first time we raised a glass together for #SonomaChat… of course. I had invited Jolene to be an Ambassador after enjoying her posts on social media and her nack for educating while still making wine fun… on social media.
Our Wednesday night group had thoroughly enjoyed her posts and hashtag, #ShowMeYourBottle with wines being sipped on the Healdsburg Square. We have been friends ever since.
It is now a perfect pairing for SonomaChat, as Jolene now works on our team to help coordinate event planning with major wineries and restaurants here in Sonoma County. If you like Sonoma County, it is high time, you follow this woman and learn more.
Love #Wine + California + Sonoma County? Then #SonomaChat is perfect for you tonight w/ @DSCWine We Chat about Wine Country! January 20, 2016 5-6pmPDT
